Craig Thompson has over eleven years of experience in the field
of fire protection engineering. Prior to joining EyakTek, Mr. Thompson
worked as a Senior Fire Protection Engineer for Gage-Babcock and
Associates. He also worked as a Senior Project Engineer for SimplexGrinnel
and was heavily involved in both fire alarm and security system designs.
He has experience in conducting complete building plan reviews, including
means of egress calculations, analysis of use group, height area
calculations and construction type.
Mr. Thompson has specialized experience in smoke control management
systems, fire alarm and automatic sprinkler/suppression system inspections,
site investigations, and Fire Safety evaluation System (FSES) surveys,
NFPA 101A. Mr. Thompson received his Master of Engineering, Fire
Protection Engineering degree from the University of Maryland and
is a member of the Society of Fire Protection Engineers (SFPE) and
National Fire Protection Association (NFPA).
